The little stone House is situated over Varenna, in the characteristic medieval village of Vezio, on the Como Lake Center.
This tiny burgh of 40 inhabitants is surrounded by the nature, far from traffic and sounds of the city, at the foot of Queen Teodolinda's Castle and along the Wayfarer Path.
XVIII century renovated stable
Almut House was originally a stable with yarn, used in the XX century as cellar for wine, cheese and salami. It was renovated and transformed into a house in 1995 with its typical vaults and stone archways and rustic furnishings in Swedish pine. The little house on 2 levels with private entrance is cool during the summer.
